HOW CORONA CHANGED OUR DAILY BUSINESS

There are certainly many stories on the net and certainly in your personal environment about how COVID19 has significantly shaken and changed the way people work. For us, as a young company on the periphery of the automotive industry, these changes created very different challenges and had many outturns.

Our service sector took certainly the hardest hit - but that is not hard to guess, thinking about the decline in car sales, personal financial losses and the absence of all automobile-related events. And even though we are pleased that more and more customers are ordering online, there is still a lack of direct exchange between us and our customers at trade exhibitions, classic car events and other venues.

For our daily work, however, the Corona pandemic also means a change in thinking.
After the first Lockdown, which completely torpedoed not only our production planning but also our personal goals, a new day-to-day working life began. This everyday life was (and still is) characterised by a lot of "problem solving", home office and few appointments abroad. Especially the missing chances to promote our brand and products in other countries is difficult for me personally to compensate. The trainings and events with our exclusive partners were not only a special experience so far, they remain also a factor to increase our brand awareness and outreach.

But there is not only dark: we were able to use the newly gained time resources.
You can see one result of that for yourself right now - within a few weeks, my team and I managed to create a completely new website on our own. We hope this has not only improved the shopping experience, but also made product selection easier. In addition, you, our dear customers, should also benefit: Triggered by the reduction in VAT in Germany, we have decided to set up special discounts on all products for the launch of the new online shop. At the same time, we are working flat out on new ideas and products. The time saved is therefore not only spent in front of the computer, but also in the laboratory.
